Seating Plan

In just a few days time, my son will get married. The solemnization (akad nikah) will take place at the bride's house. To welcome the bride and her family, we will have a wedding dinner @De Palma Hotel.  We invited about 500 people to cherish the event - mostly family members, our dear friends and also closed friends of the bride and groom.

Indeed, we look forward to the event, but the seating plan did give me a little 'headache' and at times 'heartache' hi hi hi. It is a sensitive issue which needs to be tackled tactfully. It also involves lots of thoughts relating to seniority, elders, siblings and many more. Sometimes, protocol too! Anyway, with the assistance of the to be bride and the groom, we manage to come out with the tentative seating plan. Insyallah, all will be fine. We did our best and I believe most of the time we can't please everyone. So, whatever the outcome, I leave it to Allah SWT for he knows best!
