It was truly a spectacular sight yet so soothing to my eyes. Especially, when the emcee announced, "Ladies, based on the popular vote counts the Best Dressed Winner for December event goes to Maheran Ajis" and immediately a thunderous round of applause was heard in unison!
Congratulations Maheran. We love the wearer and the dress she wore on that day! It was truly awesome and enchanting. You deserved it dear :)
The emcee for the day was forever sweet smiling Trice who made a joke just after the event as to invite the ladies for brunch and said, "Please proceed to the dining hall where we have turkey but .... > unfortunately it had shrunk to a chicken!" LOL. That was not only an awesome joke but made all the green ladies turned greener with big and wider grins ;))
The gift wrapping competition organized for that day was breathtaking and hilarious. Each participant had to wrap a tissue box each and the judges judged them based on the neatness and creativity. It was fun to see how they were doing the act of wrapping under tremendous pressure! Once done, the judges viewed their creative work and soon pronounced our special guest CG Joyce as the winner!
The whitish Hall of Rumah Malaysia has turned to X-Mas colours - red, green & gold! TQ to Trice and Thao for decorating and transforming the room. And there were stacks and stacks of gifts for the exchange of gifts event, which everyone was looking forward to. On this, I must thanked the ever willing helping hands Y, J, Ida, Rin, Mala and others for the tagging, smooth flow and evenly distribution of gifts to the ladies. Well Done Perwakilan Muscat for one of the enjoyable year end events!
As a DS in this land and Head of PM Ladies, I tried to do my very best to accommodate wherever possible based on my ability and capability for our ladies who are of different background, races and religions. And most of the time within the 1Malaysia Concept where we celebrate equally for everyone on every festive occasion! Indeed, that festive event was one of the success stories this season.
On top of that we also organized a farewell event to our members who will be leaving Muscat for home sweet home in Malaysia or other places where their husbands will be posted to. In fact, this year end we will surely miss two very active members Amy and Gee. They will head home for the land full of durians and rambutans. To both beautiful hearted persons, my prayer that we may cross path again someday and somewhere :)
Bon Voyage to Truly Amy & Sweet Gee! May you have beautiful memories of us in Perwakilan Muscat :D
