Amouage Gold

If one comes into contact with Amouage no doubt the fragrance stays and lingers with him or her and it strongly attracts anyone as bees to honey! 

As rightly said in www "it fires the imagination of all who come into contact with this wonderful products." Indeed, this X factor product is truly desirable and its sensual scent gives confidence to those who dabs it! I was fortunate to be in this country - the birthplace of Amouge where rare frankincense, an aromatic resin from Boswellia Sacra tree was part of its sacred ingredient. The trees are found in Southern Oman mostly in Dhofar region believed to be the spot of frankincense trail 2000 years ago! Not only the frankincense widely used as fragrance but it was also chewed by some for medicinal  purposes and others including candles and soaps.

As a DS in the Sultanate, last week I took the opportunity to head and tag along Perwakilan Muscat Ladies to tour and meet the perfumery experts @Amouage Perfumery House in Al Khoud which was about half an hour drive from Muscat City. It was an enchanting experience to learn about the perfumes fit for Royals which was established in 1983 - three decades ago! 

To date, the Designer Amouage has 61 types of perfumes in its fragrance base with Amouage Gold pour Femme as its first edition or inaugural creation by French master of perfumery Guy Robert who has among others created masterpieces for Dior, Hermes and Rochas. On this, I must thank Mr Right for this special gift upon my arrival to the Sultanate in 2011 :) 

Although Dior Poison is my true and forever first favorite 'companion' but Amouage Gold with its dome shape of Palace Ruwi Mosque is fast becoming my BFF and truly fit for Mrs Right! It is desirably mesmerizing to not only the nostrils but all the sixth senses -(@^@)- Just a drop or swiftly spray, woosh the effect lingers miles and miles away!

Since I was very much interested with the history of Amouage Gold, our tour guide shared her knowledge that "it is a perfume that epitomizing luxury and opulence" as well as "a polished and luminous fragrance that dazzles without ever losing it's refined quality" to which I strongly agreed and nodded. I personally adore the Gold since it also has an intertwining gentle and dorminant rose-jasmine effects which was boldly grand dame jasmine to those who wear yet gently intoxicating of Jebel roses to those in the vicinity. In sum, it has an exceptionally dramatic lasting power that a woman needs!
