Lessons from Movies

Learning is in fact a life long experience
Not only from parents and our teachers
Also from friends and other vicegerents
Including books, movies and strangers
It tells love and sometimes vengeance

I discovered learning through movies
Either true stories or through fictions
Life is full of colours and uncertainties
Yet, one has to go on with convictions
Let's face it open heartedly with no worries

I saw a sad movie The Floating Life
Also Laskar Pelangi which is nostalgic
The Magnificio pierced me like a knife
Count of Monte Cristo is surely tragic
Betrayed by a friend who married his wife!

Dari Sujud ke Sujud shows repentance
Life is short, so better we live to the fullest
Not just enjoyment and foods indulgence
Or feeling sorrowful which is worthless
Instead full of prayers and supplications

I watched Wing Chun a martial art movie
Reminds me of childhood days with my bro
WC's clean heart and mind for us to envy
Smiley girl she was relinquishing all sorrow
With no jealousy or traces of poison ivy

Truly awesome and inspiring was the Monggol
About Ghengiz Khan the epic leader
After many hardships he achieved his goal
With his wife Borte who has strong character
Both of them had beautiful hearts and souls

'Hayat' showcased her soceity and people
A determined girl and hungry of knowledge
But had to go through lots of obstacles
Being a girl in her soceity also a disadvantage
Yet, she thrived and turned obstacles to miracle!

'Hayat' movie from YouTube ... Truly awesome and inspiring :)
